Lyla had a little crash so Hud faked his crash. He made us both laugh.

Lyla's friend, Mayde, gave her this awesome bike and she loves it! Huddy loves his Spiderman 3 wheeler. He would take it everywhere if he could. He uses his feet to push himself around and he can get around pretty fast!

The kids always love crazy hair day. I hope they never grow out of being silly. Huddy wanted in on the action (of course) so Parker hooked him up. Parker got some paper towels for Hud so he could cover his face while Bubby (Hud's name for Parker) sprayed away. It was so cute to see!

These two can be very sweet to each other. Parker was fixing her hair before a pic and Lyla was holding his hand afterwards. It is nice to see the "sweet" side of the kids.

I was lucky to catch Porter! Usually when I pull out my camera, he is gone in a flash!

Family Time

I'm sad to say we lost Grandpa Heaton. We flew back to Texas last week to be with Nana Jean and family to celebrate his life. It was an emotional visit but something we will never forget.

Oldies But Goodies

When I was making my Grandfather a photo album for his 90th birthday, I came across some cool old photos. I scrapped a couple that just stood out to me. The first one is of me and Aaron. I swear I totally remember playing pin the tail on the donkey. I don't remember whose birthday it was. The second photo is of my Dad dressed up as Hopalong Cassidy. Isn't he so cute?

First day of school at PEC

Summer is gone and we are well into the school year. I can't believe how time flies! Parker and Porter are busy playing Pop Warner football. Lyla and Huddy are along for the ride right now. I have just started a six week photography course and hope to learn how to take photos off auto mode. Lyla May has her 6th birthday next Friday and plans to have a big party at our house :)

Howdy Y'all!

We just got back from a quick 4 day visit to Texas. We had a great time seeing Nana Jean and Grandpa Heaton. Somehow we packed in a trip to the Rodeo, a day at the water park, a Rangers game (they won and we got a foul ball...so cool), ice skating, a movie, and some pool time. It was sad to leave and hopefully we will get back there again soon.

Happy 4th of July

A layout I did from last 4th of July. I got 15 pictures on there!!!

I hope it was a good one for everyone! We love to go to the beach on the 4th and this year was awesome! We could have stayed all day. We also attended a friends birthday party (Happy Birthday Will and Mike) in the afternoon and we even caught some fireworks driving along La Costa Ave. What a fun and memorable day.

What a beautiful day it is here! We walked to our favorite donut shop this morning and walked back home along Neptune. I took a photo of the gang at Beacons. Alan is now enjoying a "real" massage. I want to wish all the Dad's a Happy Father's Day!

Our first day in Florida!

An awful lot around here! Baseball is coming to an end but it has been very busy with practices and games. Since the last time I posted, Parker and Porter celebrated their 9th and 7th birthdays at Petco Park, we went to Disney World in Florida for spring break and had some Easter fun. Lyla was in the variety show at school with a group of fellow kindergartners. Alan's band, For Sale, played at the Surf and Saddle. That was a fun/late night! Luckily it was Mother's Day the next morning and I got to sleep in. I will try to get some video on here too. Give me a little time for that. That's all for now!

Baseball and softball are in full swing. The kids are really loving it. Porter thinks the best thing about baseball is chewing Big League Chew gum and blowing bubbles. Huddy loves to run around at the games and Mom loves it too :) Huddy is really excited about his new lawn mower! The picture of the kids all wearing the same thing was from Twin Day at school.
