Christmas in Tahoe

Photo taken where we stayed.....Resort at Squaw Creek.....awesome place!

Probably the only time Hudson wore gloves besides the one time he went sledding.

Next bunch of photos were taken from the back of the resort. They had a great little hill for sledding.

"Yummm, snow tastes good"

Parker and Hud sharing some fun together.

I even got in on the action. I made a couple of runs with the kids.

Huddy had fun with Parker.

Crash!

Porter getting ready for his next run. He found a nice bump where he could catch some air. I lost count how many times he went up and down that hill.

Parker pulling Huddy around.

"Look, no hands Mom!"

Me and Lu

Alan and Huddy

view of the back of the resort

Lu in her ski lesson. She loved it despite the miserable conditions that day! This photo and the next few ski pictures aren't the best quality. It was raining and windy plus the zoom lens wasn't on the camera. Okay, enough excuses!

The kid laying flat on his back is Parker and Porter is on his bum to the right of him. I think they spent a lot of time in those positions. It was their first time snowboarding. They said it was fun but they weren't begging to go again.

Parker is up!!!!

Porter is cruising too!

You can tell from the smile on her face that Lu had a blast. She was begging to go again so Alan and her went out another day and skied. Lu even went down a blue run. This girl has no fear!

Hud chatting with Santa. He was showing Santa how many fingers he was. He even gave Santa a hug good-bye.

Hud caught having one of his daily melt downs about getting dressed. He just couldn't/wouldn't get used to wearing all the snow gear. He was the happiest inside wearing his Ugg's and birthday suit.

My Grandma T's truck that she has had since I was born!

Grandma T's house in Reno.

Grandma T with her great-grandchildren. This was her first time meeting Porter, Lyla, and Hudson. Our last visit to Reno was when Parker was two.

Kids playing board games in the lobby of the hotel. The hotel also had a family game room...kids loved it!

Picture taken at North Star. That is a cool place to cruise around. The kids had money burning a hole in their pockets so Lu and I found a bead shop and made a bracelet. Alan found a toy store for the boys to shop/play around in.

Wow, a picture with all of us! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We hit the road this year for Christmas. We drove to Lake Tahoe and stayed the week at Squaw Valley. It was quite an adventure for this so cal family. We did plenty of sledding, throwing snowballs, a little skiing/snowboarding, visited my Mom, Step Dad, and Grandma T in Reno, ice skating, sight seeing and lots of fun activities around our hotel. The hardest part of the trip was keeping clothes on the kids. They are used to shorts and t-shirts 24-7!
