be my valentine

Alan and I had a nice dinner at Poseidon and caught the sun set. Thanks sweetie! Thank you Nanny L and Papa Bill for making dinner possible for us :)
Lyla always has fun with this!

A classmate of Porter's gave out stuffed animals for Valentine's Day. How cool was that?

Valentine's Day has to be one of my favorite holidays. Not because I' m a romantic or super mushy inside (just a little mushy). I love hearts and candy so it is the perfect holiday for me! About 4 years ago I started to take a Valentine's Day picture of the kiddos with the heart shaped cookie cutter. I'm so happy the kids go along with it!

happy birthday to you, huddy!

Huddy practicing doing his three...was kinda hard getting that one finger to go all the way up. He will get it before he turns 4 though!

The cousins eating quickly so they can get to the cupcakes! What is Huddy doing to Lyla below? Is that a t___ twister??? Lyla was giving him bunny ears so I guess she deserved it. Lyla fully enjoyed the attention.

Hudson's birthday is on the 9th but thought it would be fun to celebrate it on Super Bowl Sunday with family.

Thanksgiving 2009

I wanted to post our group shot from Thanksgiving before the next turkey day comes! The first photo is of the Porter family. Tameri took a cute shot of Farr with all his Great Grandchildren and her camera also captured the ENTIRE group. Thanks Tameri! Thanks Nanny L and Papa Bill for hosting such a fun party. We had so much fun visiting with everyone and are so thankful to have all you guys in our lives. xo, all the heatons

Julian Snow

Over Thanksgiving break we spent a night in Julian at the Johnsons family cabin. We were so surprised to wake up the next mroning and see it was starting to snow. It started out kinda like slushy rain and then WOW....SNOW!!! Of course we weren't prepared. The kids were running around with no shoes but quickly came inside to find as much gear as they could so they could play, play, and play some more!
