Look what santa gave me for Christmas! Now I can ditch the back pack camera bag and cruise incognito. My kids will never know when or where I might whip out the camera!

Coach Jim helped me a lot with blocking. You're the best coach I've ever had (besides my Dad).

Coach Hobie made it fun for me. He is really nice. The Steelers are good for now :)
Coach Chris is the best blocking coach. You make the game easier and you care.
Coach Rick you are the most energetic coach and you got us fired up. You helped me a lot with defense.
Thanks to all the coaches for all the time and effort you put into this season. We could see how much you cared about all the boys and we really appreciated it.

{man movie}
Hud is not a wall flower in our house. He is either having a blast or walking around totally annoyed at something or someone. I have to write about the two latest things out of his mouth. Hud was looking through the movie draw, so I asked him if he wanted to watch Cinderella. He loudly replied, "NO, I wanna watch a MAN MOVIE" and lifted Pirates of the Caribbean into the air.
One more, last night Hud was hanging out in P-man's room while P-man was talking a shower. P-man walked in his room with a towel around his waist and Hud said, "gets some pants on....DUDE!" P-man was cracking up and ran in to tell us what Hud said to him. It was the joke for the rest of the night. Everyone saying, "get some pants on....DUDE!"

{parker likes this performance.....and so do i}
Scroll down and stop the play list from playing so you can hear the performance :)
{a safety}
A safety or safety touch is a type of score in American football and Canadian football and is worth two points (with one very rare exception). In American football, it is the only means by which a team not in possession of the football can score points. A safety may occur in a variety of ways, most commonly when an opponent in possession of the football is tackled in his own end zone. The term "safety" for an event that is, in fact, perilous for the team to which it occurs, is a relic of the earliest days of college football during which a team which possessed the ball near its own goal line could down it in its own endzone in order to have the ball replaced at its own 25-yard line. NFL statistics on safeties date back to 1932; from 1932 through the 2009 season (excluding 1943, for which statistics are not available), 822 safeties have been scored in the NFL.[1]

{thank you alicia}
I LOVE, LOVE this mini album Alicia made for my birthday. It is meaningful in so many ways. It captures how much fun our families have together, our love for being crafty, and how we ALL are growing up (too fast.... by the way). We look forward to seeing the Slacks and Starks every summer. Thank you Alicia!!! I miss my little buddy and our "coffee talk". This is just the most awesomest thing ever!

{1st annual virgo camp out}
Nanny L and Papa Bill planned a 1st annual Virgo camp out at their house which included tents and smores by the fire! Nana Jean was in town too for a packed weekend of football, baseball, and birthday celebrations. Fun was had by all! I tried to get a picture of the kids before we all went back to our everyday lives. There was a lot of moaning and groaning about taking a group photo. Notice Parker and Porter getting into it.......just separate already! Thanks Nanny L and Papa Bill for making a great memory for the kids and parents :)

{Thundering Mavs #45}
#45 has his brick wall up INTERCEPTION Okay, so which one of our kids likes doing up downs, running gassers, doing push ups, getting sweaty and dirty, and loves to hit hard? That would be #45 on the Thundering Mavericks Junior Mighty Mite LCCPW team (yeah....Porter). He is having a great time playing cornerback. A cornerback (CB) (also referred to as a corner) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in American and Canadian football.[1] Cornerbacks cover receivers, to defend against pass offenses and make tackles. Other members of the defensive backfield include the safeties and occasionally linebackers. The cornerback position requires speed and agility. A cornerback's skillset typically requires proficiency in anticipating the quarterback, backpedaling, executing single and zone coverage, disrupting pass routes, shedding blockers, and tackling. The team is full of budding talent and we have the best coaches and parents :). He had a nice interception in the last game against Murrietta. In the previous game against Torrey Pines, he had an across the field tackle that kept the shut out. Keep it up Port! We love you and enjoy seeing you have fun.
